A basic recipe adjusted to suit my needs.
I firstly juiced some watermelon in the blender, then strained the juice off.
I used Denver Distillery Dunder Silver Rum @denverdistillery. We bought this last year when we were in Colorado. But until now, I hadn’t cracked it open. A nice drop.
I used.
500ml Watermelon Juice
About a half cup of mint leaves
90mls of Fresh Lime Juice
180mls of White Rum- Denver Distillery
60ml Simple Syrup 2:1
Destructions
I added everything to a blender with about 3 cups, give or take, of ice cubes, and blitzed it until it was nice and icy.
Garnish
Some lime wheels, a bit of extra mint, and some wedges of watermelon.
Definitely an excellent choice for a humid afternoon to enjoy with friends on a lovely Sunday afternoon.
