When my girls were little, I wouldn’t let them have Barbie’s. It was to try to protect them from the whole sexualization of a doll. But that only made them want them all the more. Like Eve’s Apple I guess. #1 (in birth order daughter) has a whole collection of then as an adult. Some quite collectible apparently.

Andreas tells us that the Paper Plane was brought into being by Sam Ross in 2007.

it is a very refreshing, zesty cocktail that’s exhilarating on the palate. The strawberry infused Aperol offsets the tart and bitterness of both the Aperol and the lemon.

Ingredients
All equal parts:
Bourbon Whiskey- I used Wild Turkey101
Amaro Nonino
Aperol- I used my previously infused Strawberry Aperol- hence Barrie
Lemon Juice

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled stemmed cocktail glass

Ungarnished

It packs quite a punch, this drink, but in a luscious way. Maybe next time, I might hold off on the high ABV Bourbon. But the drink is decidedly delicious.
