What a great weekend we had in downtown Amsterdam. And I picked up a bottle of Spirited Union Queen Pineapple and Spice Rum.

The rum is a cask aged rum, united with the taste of fresh Queen Pineapple & Sweet Spice.

Spirited Union are an independent distillery in Amsterdam. It uses a Panamanian rum to distill the fresh pineapple.

I’m keen to use it in recipes that call for Plantation Stiggin’s Fancy. I already know the aroma of the Spirited Union far exceeds that of the Stiggin’s, so watch out for updates.
