Selkie

Rating: 4 out of 5.

By David Jordan Melia aka @speakeasieruk

Did I, at high tide, make my way to the shore, and there, shed seven tears into the sea?

Maybe πŸ˜‰

I captured my Selkie anyway.

And another interesting recipe from
David. Again using my Orkney Akvavit.

I think i would like to go to the Orkney Isles, just to listen to the stories of the Selkie folk, while sipping something to keep me warm. I think even in summer, sitting around a fire outside, would be nippily somewhat.

Anyway, enough of my waffling.

60ml Orkney Akvavit
30ml Lemon Juice
22.5ml Cucumber Syrup
15ml Ancho Reyes
7.5ml Green Chartreuse

Crafting (David sounds so posh)
Add all ingredients to shaker, and shake with ice for 10-12 seconds.
Strain into a sling glass filled with crushed, or pebble ice.
Top with more ice, and-

Garnish
with a Rosemary Sprig

Just curious. How is everyone going with their supply of Chartreuse?
