We had our neighbours over for a gay afternoon of drinks and chat. It’s hot, humid and intermittent showers here in downtown Amsterdam. But after a lovely day at an art show with another friend, we thought cocktails was a great way to round the weekend off.

• 45ml Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon
• 22.5ml Fresh Lime Juice
• 15ml Orgeat Syrup
• 60ml Fresh Pineapple Juice
• 5 dashs Angostura Bitters

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake that baby to your hearts content. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
