Chili Lime and Mango Margarita

Because summer in the Netherlands is non existent this year.

I see posts from other places all talking about heat waves. Why, we even thought we were in one when we were in Italy. 36°c (97°f, for the Americans) is really, really hot, when it’s struggling to even hover around 22° here.

So, time for some summertime madness. We have to make ourselves think we are cooking somewhere on a tropical spot right now.

  • About a third of a ripe mango, blitzed
  • 80 ml orange juice
  • Juice of a fresh lime
  • 60ml silver tequila-1800
  • 15ml chili infused Tequila
  • 15ml triple sec or orange liqueur- I used Bols dry Orange
  • 15 ml agave nectar ( or so, depending on sweetness of mango)

A Jalapeño and a brolly.
Tajin would work really well, but we were fresh out of it.

Shake everything together and pour into a glass of your choice.
