The drink, not me.
Recipe from Smugglers Cove.
15ml Fresh Lemon Juice
15ml Passionfruit Syrup
15ml Taylor’s Velvet Falernum
45ml Peruvian Pisco-we have Cruz del Camino
15ml Gin-Bombay Sapphire
6 drops Bittermans Burlesque Bitters- which I don’t have so used Elemakule Tiki, as that was what I thought was the closest to what I had.
Combine all ingredients in shaker, and fill with cracked or cubed ice. Shake and double strain into a chilled coupe.
Edible orchid, or hibiscus flower.
I saw this drink posted to Craft Cocktail Club a while back, and bookmarked it for later reference.
So here it is.
A lovely fruity, but not overly sweet drink, to celebrate summers end. That would be the summer that never was, in downtown Amsterdam.
But now we have Autumn, Fall, Herfst, or whatever it could go by wherever you may be.
Why, it could even be Spring for some.
