Midnight Mountain
Recipe Death & Co. -Brad Farran
I have been on a bit of a thing lately using liqueurs or Amaro bitters as a main ingredient. And I’ve had this Death & Co book a while, but hadn’t really used it much. And had also recently purchased some Amaro Nardini as well.
So I thought I would combine them all together.
And voila!
French for “here you go”, not some magic trick at all.
The end result is somewhat surprising. The Amaro tastes of chocolate and mint. And throw in some orange, herby flavours as well, and a touch of caramel. You have kind of a Mint Slice meets Terrry’s Chocolate Orange kind of thing happening.
Then I thought I would try to get a little fancy with my orange twist as well.
I’m interested to know what you think of this?

Destructions say:-
Stir all ingredients over ice, then strain into a double rocks glass over 1 large ice cube.
(As I’ve stated before, I don’t have a freezer large enough to try for clear ice)

An Orange Twist
