Elves of the Caribbean

The moon over a cold Amsterdam calls the Elves out for a little party. This is a refreshing winter cocktail that will have you speaking elvish into the evening. The whisky is smokey in flavour to give it that sophisticated ummpph.

  • 30ml Blended Scotch Whisky- I used a single malt, as it’s what I had
  • 22.5ml Rhum Agricole Vieux- Clement VSOP
  • 30ml White Sweet Vermouth
  • 7.5ml Pimento Dram (Homemade)
  • 7.5ml Ginger syrup
  • 15ml Orgeat
  • 22.5ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 dash Angostura

    Whip shake with crushed ice and pour unstrained into a tall Collins or zombie glass. Top with more ice. Garnish with mint, an orchid, powdered sugar and grated cinnamon.
