From Minimalist Tiki
Recipe by Sebastian Ses Barrios- Dirty Dick
This was the second delight in downtown Amsterdam tonight. Another warm and balmy evening here tonight. We have now had a continuous week of sunshine here. Not the norm lately but welcomed very much. Spring was very late coming this year. But now has arrived, and just before the official start to summer.
This is a refreshing drink, to say the least.
- 1 inch slice of cucumber
- 0.75oz lime juice
- 0.75oz lemon juice
- 0.75oz cinnamon syrup
- 0.75oz green Chartreuse
- 0.75oz fauxlernum syrup (if you know, you know) I used Taylor’s, again, it’s what I had.
- 1.25oz lightly aged/filtered rum- Plantation 3 Stars
Cut cucumber slice in quarters. Place in shaker tin and muddle.
Build remaining ingredients in shaker. Shake 10 seconds (apparently donut in front of a mirror and look sexy)
Strain into a highball glass full of ice. (I ran out of cubed ice! Can you tell?)
Garnish
Mint sprig, cucumber zest, a cinnamon stick, and powdered sugar on the mint
