Michele says this is her new favourite. And because it has Cynar, I thought, “why not!”
Because so far, I haven’t found a drink that doesn’t work, with Cynar in it. I think it’s probably my most used Amaro, as a mixer, in my artillery of Amaro, that I have.
It’s another gorgeous day in downtown Amsterdam, so time for a bit of summer love.
- 60ml Tequila Añejo
- 22.5ml Fresh Lime Juice- I just used a whole one
- 15ml Cynar-there could be other brand’s available.
- 7.5ml Chartreuse Jaune-yellow
- 7.5ml Agave Syrup
Combine ingredients in shaker with ice.
Shake to chill
Strain into chilled coupe
Garnish
a dried lime wheel.
When we recently stopped off in Liechtenstein, on our way back from Italy, I had a Cynar and orange juice. Which is apparently a popular combination, drank in Germany and Switzerland. It was decidedly delicious.
