This band, wow. I love them. We saw them a couple of years ago now. Remember when you could go see live bands?

We actually got to see them in Sweden. Long story, but a great trip.

I remember Matt Beringer came down in to the crowd, singing, and was literally about 2 metres in front of me, belting out a different song at the time (Mr November), another favourite. And I was so stoked to be there. At that point in our lives, it was kind of a magical trip. And Stockholm is a really beautiful place.

It’s the second cocktail that I know of named for one of their songs. The other being Terrible Love, found in Death & Co.’s book.

So,
Onto the drink, shall we.

45ml Bourbon-Four Roses Single Barrel
30ml Calvados-I used avallen (they spell it lower case)
30ml Fresh Lemon Juice (should you really used that bottled shit?)
30ml Cloudy Apple Juice
22.5ml Cinnamon Syrup

Shake with ice and strain into a DOF glass with a big block of clear ice. I don’t have clear ice, my freezer is already overloaded.

It doesn’t need one!
