From Tony’s Garden #1

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything.

Summer is slow coming to the Netherlands. But it appears to be here now. I have fruit! On my roof even. If you saw my roof space, and how I’ve got stuff up there, it just goes to show you that you can grow stuff anywhere just about, if you have the will.

So I’ve been busy making some shrubs, and syrups and stuff.

This little delight comes from some leftover rhubarb syrup I had.
I used:

  • 60ml rhubarb syrup
  • 60ml Tequila-Fortaleza
  • 60ml white Vermouth- Mancheno
  • Juice of a lime-30ml about
  • And a dash of Peychauds Bitters

I garnished it with a dried lime peel

I shook it all with cubed ice, because I’m not so flash that I have a milkshake maker like the Americans.

Voila!

I’m gonna call it From Tony’s Garden #1
