Robert Grecht made this 2 weeks ago, and I’ve been waiting to replicate it. He posted it to Instagram and also the Craft Cocktail Club.

Robert and I had talked (chatted) across the airwaves. He has quite a selection of amazing glassware, and I, like others, admire it greatly. As we chatted about shit, like where we lived, what we could source or not etc., in our localities, and what we liked to make, it came out I could find some bottles that he couldn’t. And as it happened, my good neighbour and friend Oona, was returning to her homeland, and her mum lived not too far, in the scale of things, from Robert.

So I shipped him a bottle of something he couldn’t get easily, via my mule Oona.
And it wasn’t part of the deal, but he returned the gift with one of his own. Or in this case a pair.
These beautiful glasses came all the way back from Canuckland, unbroken and now cherished.
So thank you Robert, and Oona.

Recipe
Minimalist Tiki- Justin Wojslaw

• 22.5ml Fresh Lime Juice
• 22.5ml Fresh Lemon Juice
• 15ml Honey Syrup
• 7.5ml green Crème de Menthe
• 30ml Orange Liqueur
• 30ml Green Chartreuse
• 15ml unaged Jamaican overproof rum (Wray & Nephew)

Shake with crushed ice.

Garnish
And dehydrated orange and lemon wheel. An idol and a straw.
