I’ve been wanting to mix this up since David first posted it. I saw these glasses, and so wanted them as well. I think they are a very elegant vessel, to serve great cocktails in.
I also got myself some Ms Betters Bitters Miraculous Foamers, and this is the first time using them. I found them at @caneandgrain, here in downtown Amsterdam. One of my favourite shops to wander into. Even if I just browse. But who am I fooling, I hardly ever walk out empty handed.
Ask David for his recipe for the Spring Dragon Syrup, and he has a few recipes that use the syrup, so you won’t be making a whole syrup for just one drink. Or even better, follow him, if you haven’t already.
So, let’s make it:-
60ml Gin-I used Hendricks
30ml Lemon Juice
30ml Spring Dragon Syrup
15ml Cointreau
Egg white or vegan alternative
Destructions as per David
Shake it all dry, add ice, and shake that baby again.
Strain into your suitably nice glass. And savour the intriguing flavours of the gin with the syrup.
